Due to the extreme high levels of both illiteracy and poverty in the villages of Uganda, it is crucial to equip Christians there with not only the knowledge of the word of God but also practical skills. This hybrid Discipleship program is what we call ... EDUCATION WITH CHRIST.
We offer EDUCATION WITH CHRIST for both children and adults.
For the Adults;
This is a program where Church leaders and everyday Christians can access our center for quarterly discipleship classes, mentorship, guidance and material supplies like Bibles and general Christian content in our library.
In addition to Discipleship, we run a practical education program for them to be equipped with handy skills for sustainability of their everyday livelihoods.
For the children;
In order to prepare the young generation for the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ, we also enroll children aged 3 to 17 years of age for everyday Nursery and Primary education where they learn how to write, read and count. Discipleship is mandatory through out their education at Avid. This is very essential in establishing a foundation of Christlikeness in the young generation.
